Boat Trips

A large majority of boat trip excursions depart from Costa Adeje’s Puerto Colon harbour. Whether you are holidaying as a family, large group or a couple, you will find some of the best boat trips here. Having tried and tested many of the boats docked here, we would highly recommend the Skyline company. Choose form the luxury Skyline Sailing Yacht or Luxury Skyline Cruiser both taking small groups of a maximum of 11 people. They are also available for private charters for any special occasions. For families with younger children we would recommend the Royal Dolphin. All of the boat trips will take you out to see the whales and dolphins with a 90% chance of sighting pilot whales and around 60% chance to see bottlenose dolphins. The best boat trips need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

Barranco del Infierno

Visiting Barranco del Infierno is a hikers dream. This Trail begins 300 metres above the sea from Adeje Town. The most beautiful views in the south of Tenerife are found all around the trail from Canarian flora, waterfalls and large rock formations. The hike will take between 3 and 4 hours to complete with a difficulty lever rated low-medium. It is recommended to wear appropriate shoes as some of the ground may be slippery. Adeje Town isn’t exactly Costa Adeje but due to the great value for money and easy access to the starting point, we have included this in our list of best things to do in Costa Adeje.

If you have stayed in Costa Adeje before, you may have noticed the sky full of parachutes. One of our personal favourite things to do in Costa Adeje is to run of the edge of a cliff more than 1000 metres above sea level! 3 jump sites are available in Adeje at 850 metres, 950 metres and 1050 metres. Take in the views from above during a 20 – 40 minute flight over Costa Adeje landing you on La Caleta beach just in time for a cocktail!

If shopping is always on your list of things to do, you have plenty to chose from in Costa Adeje. Apart from all of the souvenir shops that line the promenade, Costa Adeje has the biggest shopping mall in the South of Tenerife, Siam Mall. If you love a bargain you will also enjoy the large outlet mall, El Galeon. If you want to get away from the regular high street stores and really want to treat yourself, Plaza del Duque offers more upmarket stores. It is home to such brands as Ideal Rolex Boutique, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss and many more.

Golf Costa Adeje is one of the most beautiful golf courses on the island. Situated in Los Olivos, the courses, once the grounds of the old banana plantations have been transformed and restored into the Los Lagos & their Championship Course.

Championship Course boasts an 18 hole, par 72 which hosted the BMW Golf Cup International World Final 1999, Canarias Open de España 2003, Tenerife Ladies Open 2005, 2008 and 2009 & Spanish Open Ladies 2014.

Los Lagos, the last 9 holes built next to the practice drive, are a little shorter but also more technical. With stunning sea views and 6 lakes, the game becomes more interesting and fun. Here is where people with a higher handicap can also enjoy this fantastic sport.

There is no need to pay for extra luggage as you can rent golf clubs from Blue Sky Golf Rental. They will deliver your clubs right to your door! www.blueskygolf-rental.com
